Many people use perfume to emphasize their personality. The fragrant sprays often end up in the hair or on the wrists, but they work much better in other places.

There are many myths: you should spray perfume in your hair or in the air and then walk through it. Some people rub the scent between their wrists, others dab it on the back of their neck. But which part of the body is really best?
The golden rule applies: perfume only really releases its scent when it comes into contact with the skin. This is especially true on warm skin where the blood is pulsing.
Particularly suitable areas are the inside of the wrists, the temples, the point behind the earlobes, the backs of the knees and... the belly button!
How to make your perfume last longer:
- The fragrance molecules rise, so spray upwards rather than downwards to ensure the fragrance reaches where you want it.
- The drier your skin, the faster the scent will evaporate. Prepare your skin for the perfume with odorless body lotions or spot-applied Vaseline.
- Rubbing your wrists together destroys the scent molecules! However, gently dabbing is allowed.
- The ideal time to apply perfume is after showering. Then your skin is nice and warm and your pores are open.
